--  Channeling Type:

General Talents associated with channeling always pertain to a specific weave, or any weave that can be justifiably categorized within a genre of specialization, though there are some rare exceptions. If a character qualifies for an Elemental Talent it will always revolve around weaves wholly-- or at the very least mostly-- comprised of that particular Element; an example of this would be being notably skillful with Fire weaves.

Some of the canon Talents have been listed as "forbidden" in lieu of a role playing community having absolutely no practical use for them, such as Foretelling or the ability to recognize a Ta'veren on sight.

For the most part the administration leaves the basis of Talents up to members via a proposal form, but will always reserve the right to modify or mark a type of Talent "forbidden" to preserve peace and WoT Logic.

Minor Talents in channeling typically manifest as a deft touch with one particular weave, usually focusing on whichever Element the character is strongest with, enabling it to produce effects of an above-average potency.

Invested: 100 Power Tokens.


Major Talents in channeling typically manifest as a deft touch with an entire genre of weaves, usually focusing on whichever Elements the character is strongest with, enabling it to produce effects of an above-average potency and / or magnitude; i.e. weaves such as "Healing," or "Cloud Dancing" for manipulating the weather.

Invested: 300 Power Tokens.


Legendary Talents in channeling are exceptionally rare, even during the Age of Legends according to the fragmented texts that survived the Breaking, though a few of the Forsaken/Chosen have shown such aptitude.

This caliber of Talent will only be applicable to a very particular type of weave, as shown with Graendal's dexterity at weaving flows for Compulsion or Sammael's deft application of wards. One of the Kinswomen displayed an uncanny knack for maintaining shields, capable of restraining a greater "Strength of Power."
