A Guide to
Angreal &
Sa'angreal- -- --- ----- ----- ----- ----- ---- --- -- -
-- Requirement: Channeling.
Angreal, and the greater sa'angreal, can passively increase a character's Strength of Power.
--
Synopsis:
All angreal and sa'angreal are a specialized form of ter'angreal which are much more scarce and difficult to make, possessing a passive ability to increase the Strength of Power of whatever character is making direct physical contact with it by a predetermined degree; contact must be made by bare skin and sustained like a connection.
The maximum potential-- or simply "strength"-- of an angreal or sa'angreal acquired via the Token Exchange will be randomly generated by rolling a particular shaped die several times over, and adding the results.
****Note: Staff will make these
random rolls to officially introduce an artifact after the purchase. If the end result is uncommonly low or beneath the
angreal's /
sa'angreal's class it may be re-rolled, but low - high sticks.

--: Callandor is attuned to
saidin and can harness
750 Strength of Power. Power-wrought from the purest crystal, this
sa'angreal takes the form of a long single-edged sword identical to that of a Blademaster but lacking heron-marks. Despite its glassy appearance its hilt offers a firm and sure grip, capable of being wielded in battle.
The Sword That Is Not A Sword lacks the buffer other angreal and sa'angreal possess which makes them safe to wield, meaning a character can easily over-reach with potentially disastrous effects-- for itself and others.
--: Sakarnen is attuned to
saidin and can harness
1K Strength of Power. Power-wrought from a scepter consisting of a golden rod and goblet, the latter not unlike an hourglass in its shape but otherwise unadorned.
Just as callandor awaits the Dragon, Sakarnen awaits the Dragon-slayer as part of a dark prophecy in the mysterious and inaccessible realm of Shara. Fulfilling the prophecy's trials and acquiring it will put the entire Sharan people behind that character, though a requisite is possessing knowledge from the Age of Legends.
--: Vora's Wand is attuned to
saidar and can harness
1K Strength of Power. Power-wrought from an undefined material, similar to ivory or bone in appearance, it is roughly the length of a woman's forearm and fashioned as a fluted wand. It remains hidden away in the White Tower, accessible only to the Amyrlin Seat.
--: The Choeden Kal are a pair of immense
sa'angreal, the greatest ever created during the darkest hours in the War of Power, lost during the Breaking before they had a chance to be used. One is attuned to
saidar while the other is attuned to
saidin, and either is way too vast to be safely utilized without special "access key"
ter'angreal.
Either of the Choeden Kal is capable of harnessing 2K Strength of Power.
Each "access key" can tap into its greater statue counterpart from anywhere in the world, regardless of distance, and each comes in the form of a foot tall figurine fashioned in the likeness of a wise male or female
Aes Sedai.
